The Power of Positivity (and Hoagies, of Course...)
After years of success in commercial real estate, Todd Broaderick wanted to start his own franchise business that focused on creating an exceptional experience—one hoagie, one guest, one community at a time. As the brand came to a launching point of selling franchises nationally, Todd needed a brand and store design package that made his 2-3 store chain appear as though there were already hundreds. This is where VGS/Studio D came in.
Studio D delivered a refined set of brand standards (logo, slogans, environmental graphics, colors, fonts etc) as well as store décor, signage and furnishings that would achieve Todd’s goal. And on top of that, VGS then fabricated all signage, graphics, and seating for the initial launch (4 stores to start). The new design has since awarded Knuckies a spot in QSRMagazine.com’s 40/40 Hottest Startup Fast Casuals list.
The end-to-end solution of understanding the core tenets of the brand, deciphering that into powerful messaging and design strategy, through physically executing the store environments was a perfect match for what Todd and the Knuckies team needed.
